A tough day out in Tonbridge saw the 6s lose their final preaseason game. Despite controlling possession for the opening minutes, Ash conceded against the run of play. We kept our heads up and got back on top creating lots of good chances but we're unable to convert any. Another goal conceded on the stroke of half time ended a frustrating first half. HT 0-2.
Second half we continued to play good hockey and Callum produced numerous saves to keep us in it. Eventually Ash worked their was into the Tonbridge D, Tom slipped it to Sam at the top, who put it on a foot before carrying on to score. FT 1-2.
A difficult day out, but an opportunity to learn and improve before the league begins next week.
