Fours show real fire to thwart Twellies

The two form teams in the league met, actually, went head to head is probsbly more apt, on a lovely sunny day at Hurstmere. Pride, passion, desire, commitment, bravery and really poor maths were in abundance from the first whistle.
From what was arguably Ash’s first attack, Wotherds turn and struck to put the home side ahead.
Then the world unwound for about 15 minutes, during which time the visitors went 2-1 up and apart from a superb save from Coles, it could have been far far worse.
Like a huge bull elephant being bitten by a mosquito, the 4s juggernaut roared into life. Or meow’d. But they got better.
As the game unfolded, the 4s literally laid siege to the visitors D and eventually the pressure paid off, with Ralph roofing from close range.
Despite the continued pressure and some good chances, Ash just couldn’t secure the win.
But there were highlights, so many, some that I dare not mention here. The Welsh dragon tackling like a lumberjack, Doc Holliday clearing his throat long enough to explode, several players managing to stay calm, the Postman going out on his round 1 minute before the start, and of course, the maths.
So many people to thank this week, I need to take a run up, but if you know me, it will be more of an amble up.
