Saturday 21st September -
Andrea received a ball to the elbow which caused some major damage to the bones and skin around the joint. After admission to Darenth Valley hospital she was told the elbow was broken and she would need surgery. After eating crisps the surgery could not happen today so she is in a cast for the night.

Sunday 22nd September -
Andrea is awaiting surgery today and still can't eat. She sends her thanks to everyone for their kind messages and visits and hopes to be home soon.

Surgery will not happen today, so the patient is currently stuffing her face! :-) in hospital for another night hopefully surgery will be tomorrow.

Andrea has had the surgery and all went well. She hopes to go home tomorrow morning and is looking forward to washing her hair.
