With Euro 2024 on the horizon, we thought now would be a good opportunity to get some fundraising going (we appreciate this won’t be huge, but every little will help). This will hopefully also add some spice to those games we will all be watching in the pub together after summer league and elsewhere!

Sweepstake

The sweepstake will be £5 to enter and there are 24 teams. The funds of £120 will be distributed as follows:

• £50 to BAHC
• £40 to the winner
• £10 for the finalists
• £5 returned for each semi finalist
• £10 to the Team that concedes the most goals in the group stage (if this is a 2 way split £5 each; if it is more than a 2 way split this will be void and make the semi finalist’s payments £10 each)

The draw will take place on Friday 14th June 2024.

Predictions

If you are interested in the predictions competition please email Coursey on stephenljcourse@hotmail.co.uk or whatsapp on 07772 649112 by 5pm on Wednesday 12th June and if we have the interest, he will distribute the predictor spreadsheet.

The predictions would work as follows (if we get 20 entrants I will run this):

• £5 entry
• All group stage predictions to be received by 5pm on Friday 14th June.
• A further spreadsheet will be issued for each round when games are known.
• 3 points for a correct score; 1 point for a correct result (so when England beat Germany 5-1, you get 3 points if you had 5-1, and 1 point if you had England to win by any other score.

Fund distribution tbc, would definitely be a prize for 1st and 2nd, possibly 3rd with remaining funds to the club. We will confirm this before the start of the competition. If we receive the entry level, a product will be set up on the website- we won’t do this yes as refunding money incurs the club ‘double’ charges from the website.
